1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Email address, name, company name when you register
Documents: Files you upload to the Service for processing
Usage Data: Queries, search history, and interaction patterns
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information
Email Requests: When you ask for a confirmation, reset or new link email we record the address it goes to and a keyed hash of your IP address, never the IP address itself

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Service
To process your documents and respond to queries
To communicate with you about your account
To ensure security and prevent fraud
To comply with legal obligations

3. Email We Send

We send only transactional email, through Resend:

The confirmation of your email address, a password reset link, and a notice when someone asks to create an account with an address that already has one
A welcome once your address is confirmed, and a notice when a basis of design you started is ready
An acknowledgement when you write to us through the contact form
The confirmation that your account was deleted

We are told by email when an account is confirmed or a note arrives, with the name, company and address given, so we can reply.

We send no marketing email.

4. How We Handle Your Documents

✓ Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit
✓ We do NOT use your documents or questions to train AI models
✓ You can delete your documents at any time

Please read this before uploading anything sensitive.

Search reads the public corpus and your own uploads: passages from a document you upload are surfaced and cited only in answers given to your account
During the pilot phase we still ask that you do not upload confidential, proprietary, personal, or export controlled material
Analysing a whole document is restricted to the account that uploaded it
Document text is sent to Anthropic to produce answers and to read scanned pages when a PDF has no text layer, and it is indexed for search by our own embedding model on our database host (Supabase)

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time. Upon account deletion, we will remove your documents and personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Our record of each email request is deleted after 30 days. The records that make an email go only once, such as your welcome, are kept until your account is deleted and go with it.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Vercel), model generation and scanned page reading (Anthropic), database hosting and search indexing (Supabase), transactional email (Resend), and model call traces, including excerpts of documents (Langfuse)
Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger or acquisition

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal information
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and data
Export your data

We send no marketing email, so there is nothing to opt out of.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate the Service and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Page views on the sign in and confirmation pages are counted without the rest of the address, so the link from an email is never recorded.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website.
